The Edukators

Ich bin mal wieder Strohwitwe. Waehrend ein eiskalter Wind durch Wellington fegt und Abend fuer Abend nun das Kaminfeuer brennt, macht Kai sich ein paar nette Tage in Thailand. Heute Abend habe ich ihn zum Flughafen gebracht, und wie immer wenn jemand mit Kai reist, gab es Probleme. John-Daniels Gepaeck war nicht bis Bangkok durchgecheckt worden und in Hong Kong waere nicht genug Zeit gewesen, den Koffer einzusammen und erneut aufzugeben. Zum Glueck haben die beiden das bereits in Wellington regeln koennen, so dass der Rest der Reise hoffentlich reibungslos verlaeuft.
Ich habe mir daheim einen gemuetlichen Abend vor dem Feuer gemacht. Auf Rialto Channel (haben wir fuer einen Monat kostenlos bekommen) lief ein deutscher Film – genau das richtige fuer meinen erkaelteten Kopf, da muss man nicht so viel denken. Dachte ich zumindest. Allerdings hat mich der Inhalt dann doch ein bisschen zum Nachdenken gebracht – wer also mal sein Weltbild ueberdenken muesste und ab und an mal etwas revolutionaere Gedanken hegt, sollte bald mal “The Edukators (Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei)” gucken.

While there’s an icy cold wind blowing through Wellington, Kai once again managed to fly towards the sun – he’ll be in Thailand for a couple of days. I took him to the airport this afternoon, and as always if people are traveling with Kai, there were some problems. John-Daniel’s luggage wasn’t checked through to Bangkok, and with a really short stop over in Hong Kong there wouldn’t have been enough time to collect his luggage and check it in again. Fortunately they were able to solve this problem while still in Wellington, so hopefully the rest of the journey will be hassle free.
I had a nice and relaxing evening in front of the fire and the telly. We’ve got Rialto Channel for one month free at the moment and they showed a German film (with English subtitles) – perfect for my cold suffering head because not much to think on if it’s in my mother tongue, at least I thought so. In the end it made me think a lot, so if you are in for rethinking your view of the world and some revolutionary thoughts, you should watch “The Edukators” with Daniel Brühl.
